The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the financial health and transparency of the company by analysing its economic stability and growth.

Description

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Direct internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls
  • Establish system controls for new financial systems and develop procedures to improve existing systems
  • Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets
  • Analyse financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures
  • Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies
  • Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) or QBE
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP)
  • Excellent understanding of business planning processes
  • High numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and communicate financial data
