Description
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Direct internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls
- Establish system controls for new financial systems and develop procedures to improve existing systems
- Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets
- Analyse financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
- Resolve accounting discrepancies
- Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) or QBE
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP)
- Excellent understanding of business planning processes
- High numerical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to analyse, interpret and communicate financial data
