Job Opportunity: Wills, Trust & Probate Solicitor/Legal Executive
Location: Brighton
Overview:
A growing Legal 500 law firm in Brighton is seeking an experienced Wills, Trust & Probate Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 5 years of PQE. This is a key placement within the firm's expanding Private Client team, offering the chance to manage a varied caseload, and mentor and advise more junior lawyers while being part of a collaborative and ambitious firm with strong career progression opportunities.
Role Requirements:
Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 5+ years PQE in Wills, Trust & Probate
- Previous experience in probate, estate administration, the preparation of Wills and Trusts, tax advice and Powers of Attorney
- Experience with Court of Protection work is desirable but not essential
Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge in Private Client law
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take instructions and advise clients clearly
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy caseload independently
- Familiarity with case management systems and government online systems preferred
- STEP qualification preferred, or a willingness to undertake the qualification
