About the Role

Base Location: Thatcham, Reading, Havant, Oxford or Melksham

Salary: £39,415 - £45,136 + car / car allowance + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

Are you an experienced Health and Safety Trainer in the occupational safety areas who would love to share your expertise to train and develop others? We are looking for a charismatic individual to connect with and inspire candidates. Someone who will deliver high quality and effective training in an inclusive way and to suit all learning styles. Willing to embrace new technologies and training methods with the ability to deliver both virtually and face to face.

Your role will be to facilitate training and conduct assessments to ensure that SSE staff have the technical knowledge & skills to operate safely in challenging environments. You'll help to develop training content and sessions and deliver these across the South of England to meet our customer's needs ensuring it is aligned to all internal and external current rules, procedures, and best working practices. Providing advice and guidance as a technical expert on the implementation of industry standards and regulations through engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Proven experience of safety training to include but not limited to - First Aid, Working at Height, Manual Handling, IOSH Managing Safely and other inhouse courses.
  • A teaching qualification such as Level 3 Education and Training or equivalent would be desirable.
  • An assessor qualification would be desirable.
