An exciting opportunity for a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant has arisen at this inclusive primary school in Kirklees. This role is available immediately and extends into 2025 with a view of the position becoming permanent.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students with special educational requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to SEN students during classroom activities.
- Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans.
- Collaborating with teachers to tailor teaching materials and methods to suit the diverse needs of each student.
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported.
