Technical Sales Manager - Rail

Elevation Recruitment are seeking a driven Technical Sales Manager on behalf of one of our key clients that operate on the Rail sector.
This role will help them expand their market presence by selling innovative Rail solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Market and promote the sales of their products through proactive regular contact with Customers, Agents, Consultants, Suppliers, other stakeholders such as Government officials and Contractors in order to secure sales orders.
- Understand customer needs and present tailored technical solutions.
- Work closely with our engineering team to ensure our products meet market demands.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
- Take a lead role with new project opportunities to define and build technical and commercial value for Pandrol propositions.
- Work with Market managers to build a clear definition of value and technical solution and assist in how this is presented.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the rail industry.
- Strong understanding of rail systems and technology
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving targets.
- There may be occasional oversea travel with this role.
