The Role

We're seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to manage a high-value patch generating up to £3 million in annual revenue. This is a client-facing role that blends new business development with strategic account management across multiple sectors. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, nurturing relationships, and closing deals across a broad portfolio of lighting products and solutions.

**Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a defined territory, targeting education, healthcare, commercial offices, and public sector clients
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with consultants, architects, contractors, facilities managers, and procurement teams
  • Generate new business through networking, warm/cold outreach and industry events
  • Work closely with the installation and technical teams to deliver end-to-end lighting solutions
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM records
  • Stay current with lighting trends, energy regulations, and sector-specific needs
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue targets of up to £3 million

**Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience industry can be learned (Construction Advantageous)
  • Demonstrable track record in managing high-value accounts and winning new business
  • Excellent relationship builder - able to network effectively with decision-makers and influencers
  • Self-starter with a commercial mindset and structured approach to sales
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
