Among the responsibilities associated with this role are:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.

The following credentials are necessary in order to work as a French teacher:

  • Have a Right to work in the UK
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Provide 2 proven professional references
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Degree in French or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching French at secondary school level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong classroom management abilities.
  • Passion for French language and culture, with the ability to inspire students.
