This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative Nottingham-based Material Science company who have established a pilot facility in East Oxford. They are leaders within their field and are entering an exciting phase of scale-up and commercialisation. Due to the natural growth of the business, they are looking for a Senior Process Scientist to join their team.
What you will be doing?
As a Senior Process Scientist, you will be based in East Oxford at the pilot facility helping to transfer lab scale research into their pilot facility to scale the technology. This role will involve travel to Nottingham occasionally as well as travel to the Middle East to set up another pilot facility by the end of this year.
What are they looking for?
- They are looking for someone who has experience taking products through R&D and then scaling to pilot and beyond. The product someone could have scaled can be from many industries for example material science, polymers, chemical processes, food or synthetic biology and others.
- They are looking for someone who is open to working in a fast-paced high pressure environment and has preferably worked in a start-up environment before.
- Experience with plant design and equipment design is an advantage.
