Salary: Upto £50k plus uncapped commission

My client is a renowned Specialist Service Provider, seeking a proven Sales Manager to lead the successful Sales Team. As the Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day operations and people management of the Sales function. This role requires a successful sales professional with a track record of driving impressive sales and business growth through strategic planning and execution. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Sales Director, you will be a key member of the Senior Management team.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and exceed annual sales targets.
  • Follow up on leads promptly and close orders within the required timeframe.
  • Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to the sales team.
  • Learn and master any outstanding specialism areas within a set timeframe.
  • Implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and market research.
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals to potential clients.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective lead generation and conversion.
  • Conduct site surveys and ensure the CRM system is accurately maintained by the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in Technical Sales/Semiconductor industry.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or warehousing environment preferred.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with high attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and professional phone manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused approach.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and technically minded.
  • Demonstrable understanding of industry/customer standards and best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with Dynamics being desirable.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
