Are you an experienced Mobile Developer?
DCS Technology is excited to partner with a innovative organisation in the SaaS industry, and we're looking for a talented senior mobile developer to join their rapidly growing UK-based development team. With a focus on creating pioneering solutions, they use the Microsoft stack, including .NET Core, MVC, EF Core, SQL Azure, and Xamarin.
As part of their team, you'll have the chance to design, develop, and deploy features for their Xamarin Forms / MAUI app on both iOS and Android platforms. They value attention to detail, especially in UI/UX development, and need someone who can deliver maintainable and high-performance code in an Agile environment.
Your Role:
- End-to-End Development: Dive deep into the entire platform architecture and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of app features using .NET Core and proprietary technologies.
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with team members during the design and planning stages to constantly improve the product. You'll be a key player in bringing new ideas to life.
- Client Engagement: Offer your technical expertise during client calls and meetings, providing valuable insights to business account managers during the tender process.
- Team Leadership: Share your knowledge with junior developers and communicate effectively with non-technical senior management.
- On-Site Collaboration: Be based in the Cranfield Innovation Centre office for at least three days a week to foster collaboration and innovation
What You Bring:
- Advanced C# and XAML Expertise: Strong experience in developing with C# and designing user interfaces using XAML.
- Proficiency with .NET Core & Entity Framework Core: Hands-on experience with .NET Core, Entity Framework Core (SQLite), and Dependency Injection.
- Mobile Development Skills: Skilled in Objective-C, SwiftUI, and Java for building high-quality mobile applications.
- Messaging Integration: In-depth knowledge of integrating messaging services such as APNS and Firebase.
- Deployment Experience: Proven track record in deploying iOS apps via App Store Connect and Android apps through Google Play Console.
- Version Control Familiarity: Comfortable using version control systems like GitHub or BitBucket.
- API Integration Experience: Skilled in implementing and working with third-party APIs.
- AutoMapper Proficiency: Expertise in using AutoMapper for object-to-object mapping.
Bonus Skills:
- Project Management Tools: Familiarity with JIRA or other project management platforms.
- PRINCE2 / PRINCE2 Agile Knowledge: Understanding of PRINCE2 or PRINCE2 Agile methodologies.
- Azure DevOps & ASP.NET Core: Experience with Azure DevOps and ASP.NET Core for efficient development and deployment.
- Cloud Services Expertise: Knowledge of Azure and Google Cloud Services, including Speech-to-Text and Vision technologies.
- Microsoft Cognitive Services: Experience with Microsoft Cognitive Services, such as Vision, Speech, and Language processing.
Whats on offer?
Salary: £65,000 per annum dependent on experience
