Controlling Specialist/Analyst

In this role you will be involved in monitoring, analysing and controlling financial performance, as well as identifying areas for improvement and supporting the business in implementing strategies to optimize financial outcomes. The successful candidate will be involved in providing valuable and actionable, data driven insights to facilitate business decision making, acting as the right hand to the Business Partner Controller of the business.

Duties to include:

  • You will conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate the organization's performance, including revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow. This involves interpreting financial data and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • You will be responsible for the commission payments process with an ongoing focus to continually review, automate and drive improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. This may involve identifying automation opportunities, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices.
  • You will support strategic projects with the required analytical work and drive technical implementation in internal systems in collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • You will be an active member of the Finance and Controlling Team, gaining exposure across variety of roles and providing key cover support for business critical activities.
  • You will actively engage and collaborate with variety of stakeholders based in and outside of UK, e.g. Local Leadership Team, Shared Service Center departments, especially Business Reporting EC, Master Data Governance (MDG) as well as specialists in Global ECT Controlling.

Qualifications:

  • You are educated to A level and willing to develop in the role.
  • Experience of Digital Solutions, Dashboard Monitoring and Reporting, PowerBI would be advantageous.
  • Analytical thinking, ability to process complex issues and present them in a concise, actionable and understandable way is essential.
  • You have a good awareness of IT software, including Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • You are results oriented and highly motivated to push things forward.
  • Able to build positive and strong relationships with key stakeholders and demonstrate initiative with a positive style. Have good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and demonstrate continuous improvement to processes.
