Position: Year 3 Primary Teacher
Location: Potters Bar
Overview: A lovely school I'm working with are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join their esteemed faculty. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the responsibility of fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment specifically tailored to meet the needs of Year 3 pupils.
Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Implementation: Design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum, ensuring differentiation to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning, while promoting respect, cooperation, and responsibility among students.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies for academic improvement.
- Parental Engagement: Foster open and effective communication with parents/guardians through regular updates, parent-teacher meetings, and involvement in school events to support student development.
- Collaboration and Professional Development: Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, and contribute to the overall improvement of teaching and learning standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field (with PGCE/QTS).
- Previous experience teaching primary-aged children, particularly Year 3, is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students while maintaining high expectations for academic achievement and behavior.
