Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday 8-18.00 (3 days 8-18 and 1 day 8-17.30)

This opportunity will require you to ensure the smooth running of the MRI service by using radiographic skill and ability. You will need to ensure a quality service with a high standard of patient care with the outcome of a positive patient experience. Working within the Radiology ward you will provide support for Neurosurgery, Neurology, Musculoskeletal, Urology, Body, Paediatrics, Spinal, Anaesthetics, Vascular, Breast and Thoracic Radiology.
In this role you will:
- Manipulate and manoeuvre radiographic equipment and patients in order to obtain high quality diagnostic images within the department's protocols and procedures.
- Explain procedures to patients to facilitate their full understanding and co-operation throughout the examination as well as communicate to out-patients, information related to their imaging procedure that facilitates their management and referral to other departments as appropriate.
- Liaise with clinicians, ward staff and patients concerning preparation for imaging and patient management, ensuring that the patient pathway operates effectively.

What you'll need:
- HCPC Registration
- University Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent
- Demonstratable post qualification experience in diagnostic / therapeutic imaging
