Private Security & Chauffeur, Central London, separate accommodation provided, £70-80k gpa

Silver and Bow is currently looking for a dedicated and committed security professional to oversee and manage all security aspects for our clients at their main residence in London and their property in the countryside.

This role involves being responsible for all aspects of security at their homes; implementing and executing security protocols for each property and being the point of contact for alarm monitoring. You will be the daily on-site presence, checking in with Principals and staff members and carrying out daily checks to ensure the properties are secure. You will also be responsible for chauffeuring the family and upkeep of a fleet of cars (valeting, MOTs & services, congestion charge and permit renewals).

We are looking for a candidate who is able to commit to a long term role in a private household.
The ideal candidate will be responsive and consistently prioritise security in every aspect of the role. Ideally, applicants will have a military or security background, strong communication skills and an organised approach to administration.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Evaluating security risks
  • Overseeing alarm and CCTV systems
  • First point of contact for alarm systems and responding to security issues
  • Handling chauffeuring responsibilities such as school runs and airport pickups
  • Coordinating vehicle maintenance, MOTs and insurance for a fleet of cars
  • Accompanying the principals at weekends and holidays to their countryside property
  • Ad hoc errands as per the principals' requests

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a private setting
  • Happy to be based in London with weekends spent at the country property
  • High level of professionalism expected throughout
  • Flexibility to work weekends and travel with the family as needed
  • Full clean UK driver's license
  • Security background

Working hours: 50 hours per week, 5 days a week (additionally serving as the primary contact in case of a security breach)

Salary: £70-80k gpa depending on experience

Start: ASAP or up to a 1 month notice period
