Do you have experience in providing high quality, comprehensive administration assistance within a busy Higher Education setting? Are you a good communicator with exceptional attention to detail? If so, Signature Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for an Education Administrator to join our client, a London University.

This is a temporary full-time role with an immediate start. It is offered on a hybrid working arrangement of with at least three days in the office.

As an Education Administrator, you will provide a high level of service within the Education Office supporting the efficient administration of the undergraduate teaching programme. You will be the first point of contact for staff, students, and other visitors to the Education Office. This will include answering and resolving queries, providing expert advice on teaching policies and processes and confidently and professionally escalating information requests when needed. Your key duties will cover module and content management, education and student assistance, exchange programmes and other duties as required.

Education Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Working confidently with senior staff. The postholder will work directly with the Undergraduate Education Manager, Director of Undergraduate Studies, and Senior Tutors
  • Providing excellent general administrative assistance to various Heads of Department
  • Organising meetings including booking rooms and refreshments, compiling conference booklets, facilitating during and after meetings and taking minutes where needed
  • Actively managing the set-up and maintenance of the college Virtual Learning Environment for relevant study programmes
  • Other ad hoc duties such as managing the shared email account, booking rooms, and purchasing goods as required

Education Administrator Key Skills:

  • Previous experience working in a Higher Education setting is essential
  • Strong communication skills to deal professionally and proficiently with staff and students
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in IT skills with knowledge of Virtual Learning Software
