Tax Senior / Semi

Our client is a successful Financial Services Practice requiring a Tax Account Manager to join their busy team, covering maternity for 18 months.

The role involves managing a portfolio of clients and delivering holistic services in line with your specific team and role responsibilities.

In addition to client service delivery, the role will also involve being focused on meeting personal and team income targets, KPIs, planning and coordinating of the commitments to clients.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Co-ordinate, forecast and plan your workflow and support your peers, together with your reporting line
  • Provide mentoring/coaching/training in coordinating, forecasting and planning their workflow
  • Oversee training and offer support to less experienced members of the group

Specific duties of the role are:

  • Carry out annual reviews for clients within the portfolio to assess ongoing fees, services offerings required, year-end tax planning and ongoing tax planning
  • Control personal budgets, chargeable hours, recoverability for the portfolio allocated to you
  • Organise and monitor workflow to keep all members of staff working at their optimum whilst providing the required client service
  • Motivate, mentor and encourage all members of the team to ensure they are reaching their potential
  • Report weekly detailed KPIs

The successful candidate will ideally be ATT, CTE or QBE Qualified or part qualified.
Additionally you must have the ability to create and maintain relationships with introducers, both internally or externally therefore excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing is essential.
The role will involve hosting client meetings therefore you will be required to demonstrate questioning techniques and an understanding of principles of fact-finding,
both hard and soft fact gathering.
