The Sytner Group is seeking a strategic and experienced Lead Product Manager to own and enhance the journey of customer online experiences, focusing on maximising the performance of sytner.co.uk.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a product vision and strategy that drives user engagement, satisfaction, and business growth.

This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, digital trends, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional online experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision and Strategy:

  • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for customer online experiences on sytner.co.uk.
  • Define and prioritise product features and enhancements that align with business goals and customer needs.

Customer Journey Ownership:

  • Own the end-to-end customer journey on sytner.co.uk, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
  • Conduct customer research and usability testing to gather insights and inform product decisions.
  • Lead initiatives to link offline and online customer experiences, ensuring a cohesive and integrated journey.

Performance Optimisation:

  • Monitor and analyse website performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to enhance user engagement, conversion rates, and overall site performance

Data Orientation:

  • Leverage customer data to make informed decisions about product features and improvements.
  • Ensure best practices in handling customer data to enhance privacy, security, and user experience.
  • Analyse customer behaviour data to identify patterns and insights that can drive strategic decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with development, design, marketing, and other teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to align efforts and achieve product objectives.

Roadmap Development and Execution:

  • Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that outlines key initiatives and timelines.
  • Ensure timely and effective execution of product plans, managing resources and dependencies.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and manage expectations.
  • Provide regular updates on product progress, performance, and upcoming initiatives.

Industry Trends and Best Practices:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital product management.
  • Apply this knowledge to innovate and improve customer online experiences.

Team Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Lead and mentor colleagues across Business Systems and other professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field, or proven experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on digital products and customer online experiences.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics, user experience design, and performance optimisation.
  • Data-oriented mindset with experience in leveraging customer data for product decisions and improvements.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital product management.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
