Lettings Administrator - Pinner, Harrow - £25,000 to £27,000 DOE
My client, a successful Lettings and Property Management firm, are currently seeking a Lettings Administrator to join their busy and friendly team in Pinner.
This role would suit a candidate looking to start a career in the property industry with strong administration skills or a candidate with existing property experience looking to work in a well-established Estate Agency. No prior property experience required.
Aside from a good work ethic and positive attitude, they are looking for someone who is polite and well presented, flexible, well organised, and able to think on their feet; someone who will go above and beyond who has great customer service. A driving license and car is required to assist with the occasional viewing/check in.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Senior Lettings Negotiator and Director with their administration
- Handling the administration of new tenancies, progression tenancies from offer to move in using Goodlord
- Responding to telephone and website leads
- Updating and adding properties onto the Website and various portals e.g. Rightmove and Zoopla
- Administering landlord/tenant/property details on Reapit and ensuring notes of any changes are made clearly
- Organising/managing the "To Let" board process
- Updating internal documents and keeping the lettings folders current and tidy
- Updating window cards and information on a regular basis
- Assisting to update spreadsheets and/or Reapit tenancy check lists once they are in place
- Developing relationships with existing and new landlords
- Liaising with Accounts in order to discuss rent or statement queries
- Assisting with attracting new business and increasing market share
- Renewals Administration
- Troubleshooting and working with other departments to problem solve
- Attending any relevant webinars to gain knowledge and relay to colleagues as appropriate
- Any other ad-hoc Lettings tasks that are required
- Assisting with the occasional viewing
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administration role
- Prior experience in the property industry would be advantageous
- Good organisational and co-ordination skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills with a positive attitude and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Ability to multitask and to work accurately and effectively under pressure
- Must understand the principles and practice of client care
- Ability to work in a team and understand team dynamics
- Full clean driving license and own vehicle
Package:
- £25,000 to £27,000 DOE + Additional pay for Saturday hour
- Performance related bonus
- 21 days annual leave
- Parking Permit
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm with an hour lunch, every other Saturday 10am to 2pm (Saturdays hours are paid in addition to annual salary)
