History Teacher Responsibilities:

- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, primary sources, and multimedia resources to bring historical events and concepts to life.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore historical ideas, debate interpretations, and develop their historical understanding.
- Assess student progress through a range of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth and development.
- Promote critical thinking and analytical skills by encouraging students to question sources, consider multiple perspectives, and draw connections between past and present.

Qualifications:
- Relevant university degree in History or a related field.
- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching history within a UK school setting is preferred, but not essential.
