Senior Credit Controller Role Overview
NC Associates are representing a nationally leading service provider as due to continued business growth they require an additional Senior Credit Controller to join their Accounts Receivable Team. You will take responsibility for Key and regional accounts to maximise cash collections and reduced aged and overdue debt. Senior Credit Controller Responsibilities:
- Overseeing a large ledger of key and regional accounts.
- Proactively chasing due and aged debt via telephone and email.
- Proactively working to agreed collection targets.
- Ensuring that any queries are resolved in a timely manner to ensure prompt payments.
- Reporting on debt position, highlighting aged debt and providing correspondence as required.
- Identify potential problem accounts, recommending for accounts to be halted as required.
- Liaise with accounts receivable clerks and the wider finance team regarding any discrepancies with cash allocations.
Senior Credit Controller Required Experience
- Previous experience in a B2B Senior Credit Control position ( 5 years+)
- Previous experience of key accounts management.
- A target driven and proactive mentality.
- Previous experience of working in a larger business or Shared Service Centre environment is highly advantageous.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work effectively both independently ad as a collective to achieve team targets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and build strong relationships.
- Advanced computerised systems and Excel skills.
