This is an exciting new role working within a housing association providing homes across North Yorkshire.
Your new role
- Take the lead role in delivering our Neighbourhood Offer.
- Take the lead role in the delivery of the Good Neighbourhood Management Policy dealing effectively with reports of low-level neighbour disputes / differences and noise nuisance.
- Lead and coordinate where it has been identified that extra support is needed for customers, and work with the appropriate specialist officers to provide necessary support and help as appropriate.
- Act as tenants' representative in relation to customer enquiries and take appropriate action.
- Work proactively in our neighbourhoods to get a good understanding of residents, communities and our properties, as well as working closely with other agencies.
- Take a proactive approach in dealing with planned, cyclical, environmental, and tenancy management issues, keeping customers and partners informed of progress.
- Help in the reduction of crime and the fear of crime by developing links with the Community Safety Team, Police and other agencies.
- Deliver a programme of regular estate and communal inspections prioritising fire safety assessment follow up work.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong communication skills with previous experience of working with customers in a demanding environment.
- Evidence of achieving performance targets.
- Experience of using computer systems, for example Microsoft Office
- The ability to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies.
- Decisive analytical and interpretation skills.
