JHE & Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Accountant to join an innovative manufacturing & distribution services organisation with an international footprint. Based from their UK headquarters in Skipton, the chosen candidate will report to the Group Accountant and form a key part of the Finance function that oversees multiple international subsidiaries and revenues in excess of £150 million. The role is offered on a hybrid basis following an initial induction period, but you must be able to commute to Skipton 2 days per week.
Key elements of the role
- Group Reporting & Analysis - P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow statements
- Monthly GL account entries - Accruals, prepayments, Fixed assets, reconciliation of sub ledger, bad debt provision and maintaining all supporting documents for the management reporting file.?
- Working to set Group Budgets & on-going budget variance analysis
- Compiling and controlling VAT & Intrastat Reports for local subsidiaries
- Oversee all elements of Accounts Payable & payroll
Qualifications and experience required
- Ideally CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified with at least 3 years PQE (QBE candidates will also be considered)
- Experience of Group accounts reporting & analysis, and comfortable communicating at board level
- Strong knowledge of multi-currency, multi-entity accounts is highly desirable
- An understanding and interest of working towards sustainability and environmental concerns
