Special Needs Teacher – Key Stage 3

This vibrant special school is looking to recruit an experienced Special Needs Teacher to teach a wonderful KS3 class of children with moderate learning difficulties, many of which have the primary diagnosis of autism. Are you a Special Needs Teacher looking for a new opportunity to make a difference in a welcoming special school? This school might be the one for you!

Staff are friendly, children are happy, and the leadership is extremely supportive. The school caters for children with moderate learning difficulties, and you will be teaching a class of no more than 10 children. You will also be supported by a team of experienced teaching assistants and work closely with other Special Needs Teachers to provide children with an outstanding education. Job Role:

  • Teaching a small class of Key Stage 3 Students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual students.
  • Liaising with the SENCO and TA's to ensure children are supported appropriately.
  • Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for students.
  • Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers.
