Commercial Coordinator

Our client, a dynamic organisation within the Economic Crime Directorate, is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will provide vital support to the Commercial and Contract Management team, facilitating key activities related to finance, risk management, and supplier management.

Start ASAP, duration 6 months with the possibility of an extension, pay £158 per day -£175 per day, hours Monday- Friday 35 hours per week, this is a hybrid working role and you are required to work in the office three days a week. Location, closest station Bank. Due to the nature of the client you are required to hold a current, valid SC clearance that is currently in date.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Contract and Commercial Management team with the preparation of commercial governance materials, ensuring all relevant documentation is accurately stored for auditing purposes.
  • Provide stakeholder management administration support, including following up with stakeholders for feedback and facilitating workshops.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial and Contract Management team by offering administrative assistance for the Commercial Change Board, including meeting minute-taking, diary management, and organising meetings.
  • Support the team in managing invoices, raising Purchase Orders, and receipting Purchase Orders.
  • Create and manage files for all Commercial Management documents, maintaining proper configuration management and version control.
  • Prepare high-quality documentation to contribute to the successful management of projects, such as project plans, risk and issue registers, and end-stage project reports.

Skills:

  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and build excellent working relationships
  • Excellent administration and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a pressurised environment
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, internal and external to the organisation
  • High level of IT proficiency, particularly in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new software
