Administrator / Coordinator

Job Purpose

To support the Travel & Transport Manager in the delivery of BU's travel plan and to manage and
administer day-to-day travel activities for the University. The Travel Plan is fundamental for BU's core
business, as it enables staff, students and visitors to have options for accessing the University. It also
supports the future strategic development of the campuses. The post holder will have day to day
responsibility for managing the parking attendants and car parking operations, as well as delivering more
sustainable travel options for staff, students and visitors as defined in the Travel Plan.

Interacting with staff, students and visitors needs - good verbal communication skills are needed, mostly electronic communication using MS Outlook and phone.

This is a 2-month temporary assignment - mainly office based but some flex on occasional days to work remotely.
£14.42 an hour (inc holiday pay) Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5pm.
