Cleaning Chargehand

Randstad C&P are working with a well-renowned facilities management company, who are seeking an experienced Cleaning Chargehand/ Supervisor. The successful candidate will have worked within the facilities management/ commercial buildings, carrying out all supervisory duties on site.

This is a temporary opportunity that could lead to a permanent position, based in Falkirk

  • 22.5 hours per week
  • 6.30am- 9.00am & 4.00pm-6.00pm

Package includes:

  • Competitive salary up to £12.50 - 14.01 per hour paye
  • Training and support will be available on site

Main duties will include:

  • Taking on Supervisor duties
  • Signing off work that has been completed
  • Keeping an up to date log of all hours worked by staff and lof any absences
  • Making sure other staff are cleaning their designated areas in a timely manner and to a high standard
  • Good communication with stakeholders and colleagues - actioning any feedback with immediate effect
  • Comply with health and safety policies/legislation
  • Providing a good level of customer service to peers and contract holders

The ideal candidate must have the following:

  • Ideally have previous commercial cleaning experience competent and understands the works involved in the job role
  • Must have or be able to pass a PVG
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
