Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer based in Rotherhan, who are looking to welcome a CI Engineer in to the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CI Engineer, who is looking to join a high volume, fast faced manufacturing environment in the middle of an exciting project and business expansion.
As the CI Engineer you will:
- Work closely with the site management, scope and define key performance improvement projects which deliver significant business benefits
- Drive performance improvement projects across the site
- Using benchmarking, implement any new practices which delivers value to the business.
- Facilitate the implementation and training of systems across the site
- Develop and expand local capabilities in practical application of continuous improvement tools and methods, mentoring in leadership of improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma) and promote a structured problem-solving approach. (Root Cause Analysis)
- Build consensus with local management teams, support change programmes which are led by other functions
- Understands KPIs through trend analysis, insight and formulates plans with management teams to address downward trends or below world class performance issues
- Be the custodian of all performance management systems and tools on site, coaching, facilitating the site team to deliver sustained results through KPI driven activities
- Interrogate and develop systems and data
To be considered for the CI Engineer role you will need:
- Previous high volume manufacturing experience (at least 5 years)
- Experience in the deployment of CI methodologies (at least 3 years)
- An individual who is comfortable working "hands on" with the site teams, taking a very visible and active role within the site
- Be a self starter and capable of working autonomously
