Warehouse Manager | E-commerce D2C Fashion | Blackpool | £35k - £40k
Zachary Daniels are excited to be partnering with a high growth retail d2c e-commerce brand who sell both mens and women's clothing to global customers. We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to support the business by working with the in-house logistics team and carriers to ensure D2C orders are fulfilled for their customers. The site have recently taken all logistics 'in-house' so a strong and capable manager is required. This role will be based at their Blackpool distribution centre leading the warehouse team.
The ideal candidate will be a hands on warehouse manager and must have operated at this level in the past. Experience within an e-commerce pick, pack, despatch and returns operations is highly desirable. The role holder will ensure the operation is running efficiently and tracking at or below budget. Reporting into the business owner.
The role as Warehouse Manager:
- Take the lead for all H&S matters throughout the site
- Manage the small warehouse team - inbound, pick, dispatch and returns
- Ensure Inventory damage / loss is kept to a minimum through WMS system
- Be responsible for performance development, performance improvement / challenges and HR related issues
- Manage and lead a culture of Continuous Improvement
- Undertake and recognise projects for process improvement within the Operation
- Working with carriers and external parties to achieve customer SLA's
The ideal Warehouse Manager candidate will have:
- Proven experience gained within a similar Warehouse Manager role
- Worked within fashion, retail or ecommerce d2c is desirable with experience in Pick, Pack, Despatch and returns
- Strong leader capable to drive performance through engagement
- Must have a hands on management style and be prepared to work with the team to ensure all orders are fulfilled
Warehouse Manager package:
- The salary offered is up to £40k.
