We're going to be calling this one an Outbound Caller, it sounds simple, but it probably doesn't do it justice for just how much you'd be able to get stuck into with this job and also the amount of growth and development opportunities.
This would be a great role for either someone with previous sales/telesales experience, or someone that would like to get into something like this and has worked in an environment where you'd have previously dealt with high volumes or calls and have great telephone skills.
Within this role you'd be working very closely with the operations director and calling through a database of 1,500 strong leads, prospects that have been handpicked and carefully selected.
Full training will be provided, and these calls are simple and "scripted" to help guide you in the right direction - It's very much business to business and the service they provided is an increased revenue service within their industry, so it's quite an easy thing to speak about!
You'll only be managing the start of the process and then handing it over to someone else to take over, sign up and go into the finer details - although down the line this is something you could easily pick up and take on too.
We're viewing this as a temp role for the next 4-5 months to begin, with a view that this could be extended or even turn into a permanent role given the success of the role and the growth of the business.
The role will offer weekly pay to begin whilst it's temping and that'll be at an hourly rate of £12.50 to £15.60 per hour + holiday accrual. As well as bonusses for converting these leads which will vary from £10 to £30 per conversion.
Completely open to someone doing this role full or part time too! Someone could work fewer full days, fewer short days, work around school runs, we're totally open to suggestions on this one, so do get in touch and discuss. Likewise, they'd also be open to someone wanting to work a role like this on a full time basis. Any shift pattern would fall between their Monday to Friday core office hours and be based in their Hemel Hempstead office.
This role is going to be great for someone that wants to work in a very relaxed environment, with a team/company that value long term relationships and put a lot into caring for and harnessing those.
What does the day-to-day look like?
- Calling out to a handpicked and warm leads database to introduce a service
- Following up on attempted calls with marketing materials via email, Linkedin and other methods
- Updating the CRM system with notes and updated information
- The role has the potential to grow and develop over the initial weeks/months
What do we need from you?
- Previous experience working in Telesales, Sales, Account Management or a high volume customer services role with a strong desire to get into sales is going to be essential for this position.
- You will need to be a peoples person and focussed on building long term and strong relationships within your team but also your customers/accounts.
- This role is fully office based in Hemel Hempstead, on a part time or full time basis, so you'd need to be able to commute to the Maylands office for each worked day.
