JOB – Electrical Maintenance Technician
LOCATION – Tyne & Wear
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £37,000 - £40,000 per annum.
A Tyne & Wear based manufacturing company are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
- HNC or equivalent/ higher electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
- Previous electrical maintenance experience.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
The Electrical Maintenance Technician's duties will involve:
- Preventative & planned maintenance for plant & process equipment & systems.
- Providing support to contractors & junior engineers when required.
- Carrying out risk assessments to ensure standards are met.
- Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
Additional Information:
- Base salary sits around 37k with an annual shift allowance bringing this to above 40k.
- Alternating early & late shifts.
- Early finish every Friday.
- Overtime available.
- Good pension package up to 7%.
