  • Salary Range: £31,303 - £34,259 (including sleep-ins at £50)

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team in a 4-bed home in Harriseahead. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and support to children and young people. The position offers a clear pathway to management and the opportunity to gain a Level 5 qualification.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be 22 years old or above as per children's home regulations.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience as a team leader or readiness for a step-up role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the care and well-being of children and young people.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide care and support to children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment within the home.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Engage with children and young people in activities that promote their wellbeing and development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the service.
