Senior Commercial Role
- MCIPS or Equivalent
- Recent public sector experience in large and complex environment
- Worked extensively in commercial role, taking personal responsibility
- On site requirement min 2 days per week
- Lead and support major commercial confrontational negotiation activity
- Understand commercial risk and present solutions to stakeholders
- Drive commercial approaches in departments overcoming reluctance
- Confident and experienced in major commercial arrangements
- Report back to management and board on your deliverables
- Capture and share lessons learned from commercial activity
- Review complex and high value options with commercial understanding
- High levels of resilience and ability to work on multiple projects under pressure
- Fully up to date with public procurement requirements
- Work within Supplier Relationship Management methodology
- support contract variations, providing advice and direction
- Provide assurance agreements reviewed provide Value for Money
- Be responsible and accountable for performance and savings
- Political awareness and organizational priorities understood
- Support and utilise analysis and liaise with Category Management and Procurement
- Understanding of differing funding streams
