Management Accountant, Qualified by Experience, Kettering, up to £35,000+ benefits
Our client, a well-established, successful, highly reputable organisation in the Kettering area providing high quality solutions and components is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their efficient main finance team. The role is responsible for the production of timely accurate management information, payroll duties and assisting the FD as and when required.
As the Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Updating and maintenance of finance procedures and processes, including documentation
- Leading/mentoring the Accounts Assistant, ensuring deadlines are met
- Management and supervision of the company's Vehicle Fleet
- VAT returns and reconciliations
- Various payroll processes/checks
For this position we are looking for someone who has had experience in management accounting roles, ideally with some knowledge of VAT and Payroll processes. Someone who understands processes relating to SME commercial environments. This person will be highly IT literate, with strong excel capabilities. You will require confident communication skills as you will be tasked with working alongside senior stakeholders in the organisation, as well as leading by example in the finance team and working closely with the FD.
This individual will also be self-motivated and pro-active, with the ability to work towards business deadlines. Someone who will be able to demonstrate how they can maintain and nurture relationships across the organisation. We are looking for a qualified by experience individual who is comfortable working in a fast paced, reactive role and someone who can work to tight deadlines. This role is not a progressive role, so would be ideally suited to those looking to settle into a role for the foreseeable future.
