About the Role:
- Work 1:1 with a KS2 child with ASD in a client school based in Mytholmroyd.
- Full time position, intended on leading to a permanent role.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for the child.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a holistic approach to the child's needs.
- Contribute to the child's development and progress.
You'll be Ideal if You Have:
- A minimum of 1 years' experience working with children with ASD in an educational setting.
- An understanding of autism spectrum disorder and associated behaviours.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and de-escalation skills.
- A calm, patient, and positive approach.
- The ability to build rapport and trust with children.
- A commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
Being male is preferred for this role, however anyone with experience will be considered. ( Gender is considered to be an occupational requirement : Equality Act 2010)
