Lift Technician

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000

We are a renowned and established Lift Service, Installation, and Repair company. Due to our continuously expanding portfolio, we are seeking a talented Lift Technician to join our team in the London area.
Responsibilities of the successful Lift Technician:
- Provide expert technical support to the entire business.
- Assist engineers with technical issues and liaise with manufacturers when necessary.
- Communicate technical information effectively to key stakeholders.
- Test lifts for modernization projects and new installations.
- Attend and rectify breakdowns and faults.
- Generate detailed technical reports and maintain accurate records.
- Liaise with site personnel to assess lift status and notify affected parties.
- Ensure the electrical safety of lifts.
- Commission lifts according to specification parameters and complete necessary documentation.
- Record abnormalities for corrective action or risk assessments.
- Conduct final inspections and sign off on documentation.
- Participate in quality and technical issue meetings.
- Ensure lift well security and safety during commissioning/testing.
- Report lift conditions to the Project Manager and provide snagging lists to fitters/supervisors.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
Key Requirements of the successful Lift Technician:
- NVQ4 within Lift Engineering or equivalent.
- NVQ3 within Lift Engineering is essential.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Experience on Schindler or Thyssenkrup is desirable but not compulsory
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Proven experience as a Lift Technician or Tester.
