ECT's will be provided an experienced and supportive ECT mentor to help with their progress and ensure they reach their full potential.
Responsibilities of a Science Lecturer:
- * Working in the Science Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet standards of work
- * Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
- * Delivery of T levels and BTEC Level 3
- *Plan and deliver lessons that meet the diverse needs of our students.
- * Assess and track student progress, maintaining accurate records.
- * Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
- * Support extracurricular Science activities and events.
The ideal candidate should have an excellent record of teaching and learning practice and demonstrate the ability to prepare, plan and deliver high quality lessons in an engaging and exciting way to support learners.
Experience in a relevant industry, teaching A level or T level, and curriculum design and delivery is beneficial. A Science degree and a level 5 teaching qualification are also required.

- * Level 5 Teaching Qualification or willing to work towards one
- * Science Related Degree
- * Passion for Science and commitment to fostering a love of learning in students
- * Excellent organisational and communication skills
- * Strong behaviour management skills
- * Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
