Job Overview: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in the commercial facilities management sector. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans to meet sales targets, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service solutions to clients.

You will be split between office/hybrid working and client site visits, and be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth.

This role would suit an ambitious and strategic professional with a background in facilities management, who excels in building relationships and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.
  • Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities within the commercial sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target businesses.
  • Occasionally prepare and present compelling proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality service solutions that meet client expectations.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company's services and build a strong professional network.
  • Stay updated with industry developments and innovations to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
