Facilities Management Team Leader
Based in Birmingham | travel required to London 2 days per week
Full Time role | Monday to Friday | 9:00am to 5:00pm
Temp contract for a minimum of 2 months | potential to be extended or made permanent
Pay rate up to £200 per day + travel (depending on experience)

Search Consultancy are currently working with this well known business based in Birmingham to recruit this role.

The successful candidate will be to provide oversight & management of a range of Facilities duties which facilitate the smooth running of 2 sites based in Birmingham (home office) and London (based 2 days per week), ensuring that all customer & stakeholder requirements are met.

_Duties involved in this role will include: _

  • Lead on the day to day running of the site from a Facilities perspective
  • Communicate any issues or concerns promptly through line management ensuring quick resolution
  • Comply with all Health & Safety legislation
  • Carry out team briefings with the various teams under your remit
  • To ensure the health, safety and security of staff, customers, premises and equipment by ensuring site-wide best practice is followed
  • Ensure premises are opened and secured with agreed procedures
  • Ensure high quality of daily reception and front of house services, including organising access for 3rd parties & distributing mail
  • Arranging logistics support when required
  • Management of the CCTV & alarm systems for both sites
  • Arranging building and ground maintenance when required
  • Carrying out required statutory inspections
  • Arranging repairs & maintenance work
  • Responsibility for preparation of paperwork, timesheets & overtime where required
  • Other ad hoc Facilities & Administration duties as required

_In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include: _

  • Extensive previous experience working within Facilities Management - this experience is ESSENTIAL
  • A solid understanding of Health & Safety and other statutory Facilities legislation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability & confidence to deal with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent organisation & time management skills, with the ability to prioritise & complete a very busy workload effectively & on time
  • The willingness to travel at least 2 days per week to the client's site in London - this part is not negotiable
