Commercial Litigation Associate 5years PQE+ London

I am seeking a skilled Litigation Associate to join a Legal 500 respected legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the litigation process, from case inception to resolution. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters and gain valuable experience in a dynamic legal environment and career progression

Duties:

  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Assist in case preparation and management, Conduct thorough legal research and provide detailed analysis on various legal issues
  • Attend court hearings and assist with trial preparation
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other legal professional
  • Assist in managing commercial litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, statements of case, and other court documents, with limited supervision..
  • Participate in pre-trial preparations, including drafting witness statements, preparing bundles, and liaising with counsel.
  • Represent clients in court, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to client retention and business development efforts.
  • Stay abreast of legal developments and regulatory changes relevant to commercial litigation in the UK.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build the firm's profile.
  • Provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice to clients.
  • Understand the financial and operational aspects of clients' businesses.
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential legal risks for clients.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly.

Qualifications
- LLB or equivalent qualification in Law
- Qualified UK solicitor with a valid practising certificate
- Proven experience working in commercial litigation within a reputable law firm
