Graduate Town Planner - Rural Development Consultancy
Location: Flexible / Hybrid (with regular travel to Skipton, North Yorkshire)

About the Role
As a Graduate Planner, you'll work alongside experienced planning professionals, contributing to a wide variety of rural development and diversification projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting planning and development consultancy projects
- Researching planning policy, land use, and site constraints
- Assisting with site assessments, feasibility studies, and strategic land reviews
- Drafting planning reports, development strategies, and proposals
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
- Supporting project coordination and business development tasks as needed
You will gain hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of work, with mentoring and support towards professional accreditation.
What We're Looking For
- A degree (or master's) in Town Planning, Rural Land Management, Geography, or a related field
- A genuine interest in rural planning, policy, or countryside development
- Strong written, verbal, and research skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
- Proactive, collaborative, and keen to learn
- A full UK driving licence is essential due to the rural nature of project sites
