Finance Manager

We are delighted to be partnering with a growing and progressive Multi Academy Trust in the search for an experienced Finance Manager. You will be the senior finance professional, taking overall responsibility for the finances of the school.

Duties will include:

  • Management and ongoing monitoring of the academy budget
  • Monthly management accounts production
  • Annual budgeting process
  • Forecasting
  • Business partnering none finance staff
  • Management and development of finance systems and processes
  • Management, development and coaching of a small finance team

Role will suit:

  • An experienced finance manager or accountant working at a senior level and ready to take the next step into finance management
  • Experience of working in education is desirable, but not essential, applications will also be considered from a not for profit or commercial background
  • You will have strong budgeting experience and outstanding communication skills, with a proven track record in communicating finance information to none finance staff
  • You will have a positive, caring outlook and a commitment to your own professional development
