Job Purpose
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing workflow, deadlines, and budgets
- Planning and undertaking assignments, striving to deliver service excellence
- Tracking progress including WIP and billing targets
- Leading a team of accountants by reviewing work, providing constructive mentorship, and motivating those around you
- Closely monitoring deadlines and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations
- Using computer software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
- Contributing to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients
- Building trusted and long-lasting client relationships, proactively handing queries
- Reviewing processes and implementing more efficient ways of service delivery
- Setting an example to junior staff as a hands-on Manager

The Successful Candidate
- ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified
- Qualified by experience also considered
- A proven track record of managing a client portfolio within practice
- Previous experience leading a team, including reviewing work and providing mentorship
- Good communication and advisory skills
- Professional, reliable and keen to progress within the firm
- A hands-on, can-do attitude to problem-solving
- Organised and able to oversee a team's workload effectively
