My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Associate to join their dynamic central london Finance team. Coming from an accounts assistant / AP/AR background, you will be responsible for processing customer invoices through to payment collection and supporting the Management Account process. Responsibilities:
- Process customer invoices and ensure accurate invoicing and communications.
- Review cash receipts regularly to update ledgers in a timely manner and avoid clearing accounts.
- Post adjustments to customer accounts, such as credit notes, bank fee deductions, and exchange variances.
- Communicate efficiently with customers and colleagues via email and telephone, addressing any queries or outstanding issues.
- Set up new customer accounts, keep existing accounts up to date, and make necessary amendments when required.
- Support the issuance of recovery escalation letters to customers as necessary.
Requirements:
- Part-Qualified Accountant with at least 3 -5 years of experience in a similar finance role.
- Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in written and spoken English (Spanish language skills would be beneficial).
- Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office-suite.
- Demonstrable experience working within a finance role, with a focus on sales ledger and understanding of wider financial team responsibilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
