Accounts Receivable Associate

My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Associate to join their dynamic central london Finance team. Coming from an accounts assistant / AP/AR background, you will be responsible for processing customer invoices through to payment collection and supporting the Management Account process. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and a drive to excel in your work, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer invoices and ensure accurate invoicing and communications.
  • Review cash receipts regularly to update ledgers in a timely manner and avoid clearing accounts.
  • Post adjustments to customer accounts, such as credit notes, bank fee deductions, and exchange variances.
  • Communicate efficiently with customers and colleagues via email and telephone, addressing any queries or outstanding issues.
  • Set up new customer accounts, keep existing accounts up to date, and make necessary amendments when required.
  • Support the issuance of recovery escalation letters to customers as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Part-Qualified Accountant with at least 3 -5 years of experience in a similar finance role.
  • Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in written and spoken English (Spanish language skills would be beneficial).
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office-suite.
  • Demonstrable experience working within a finance role, with a focus on sales ledger and understanding of wider financial team responsibilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
