TRAINING: When you join this organisation you will spend time in each area of the business, developing an understanding of processes, service, products' and client base. This will be vital to the role you will undertake and give you a gentle introduction to the world of THEIR MANUFACTURING BUSINESS.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Website and Digital Asset Management: Maintaining website content, managing digital assets including images and videos, and working with marketing applications including email marketing platforms.
Content Creation: Developing and publishing marketing materials, including written content, videos, and social media posts.
Marketing Strategy and Planning: Assisting with the development and execution of marketing plans, potentially contributing to long-term strategies.
Campaign Management: Helping to coordinate and manage marketing campaigns, including tracking performance and reporting results.
Relationship Management: Liaising with internal teams, external agencies, and other stakeholders.
Social Media Management: Engaging with audiences on social media platforms, creating content, and monitoring performance.
Market Research: Researching customer trends and competitor activity whilst updating wholesaler network.
Design of new product and point of sale (using Adobe CS - PC).
Sales Communication: Contacting potential clients on behalf of the external sales and as well as carrying out market research for the initial sales visit.
Handling customer inquiries, feedback, and potential complaints.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Degree - relevant degree (marketing related)
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for creating content, engaging with customers, and presenting ideas.
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency in using social media platforms, knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and other marketing software is desirable but not essential.
- Analytical Skills: The ability to analyse data, track campaign performance, and make data-driven decisions.
- Creativity and Innovation: The capacity to develop original marketing campaigns and branding strategies including design for new products/point of sale.
- Commercial Awareness: Understanding of customer behaviour.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: The ability to work effectively with colleagues and other teams.
- Attention to Detail: Essential for ensuring accuracy in marketing materials and campaigns.
- Problem solving: - can do
- Time Management - ability to work to deadlines
- Knowledge of the industry would be beneficial but not essential.
- Full driving licence is desirable but not essential - must be able to get to work at their Hinkley offices (this is not a hybrid role)
HOURS OF WORK: 8.00 - 4.30pm or 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday 1 hour lunch
SALARY/BENEFITS: £25,000 - £28,000
28 days including Bank Holidays
