Automotive Parts Advisor

Our Parts Advisor role has an achievable bonus which puts the on target earnings at £33,000 per annum.

Purpose:

To order, receive, receipt, store and oversee parts and stock requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the VDA to determine which parts will optimise the profitability of each car.

  • Consider repair over replace

  • Use non genuine parts if these are the most profitable option

  • Adhere to the Preferred Supplier List to ensure the lowest cost supplier is used

  • Order parts and ensure on time delivery

  • Responsibility of the stores department at the AD Williams location.

  • Stock organisation to support business productivity levels.

  • Administration associated to all daily parts activities.

  • Maintain standards and quality of parts storage to ensure limitation of damage.

  • Provision of appropriate housekeeping of the department and the safeguard of inventory and property.

  • Management of efficient stock levels.

  • Ordering of wet and dry goods (paint and materials).

  • Collaboration with suppliers.

    • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Intermediate IT and mathematical skills

  • Ability to work to deadlines

  • Previous experience in a similar role desirable
