Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for Relief Security Officer to join our passionate and driven team based at our client's site in Gloucester
OCS is looking to increase the Security Relief Team Relief for two sites in Taunton. Gatehouse duties at one site working 06:00 – 18:00 Thursday and Friday. Patrols, CCTV monitoring and supporting tenants Saturday and Sunday 17:00 – 05:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the premises.
- Ability to follow policies and procedures with strict access control arrangements.
- Monitor CCTV
- Ability to liaise with the client and fill in incident reports.
- Conduct thorough security checks on individuals and vehicles entering and exiting the site.
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises during the assigned shifts.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
- Officer to provide access and egress control to site
- Ensuring all visitors are signed in as per site security requirements.
- To ensure the delivery of consistently high standards of customer service.
- To promote and uphold the principles of security in accordance with the policies and directive.
- To manage access and egress to site
- To adhere to the company's dress code and wear correct uniform.
- To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company's health and safety policy and health and safety management plans.
- To comply with the company's policies, management plans and procedures.
About You:
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- Strong people and customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- Must be able to carry out duties whilst lone working and as part of a team be confident filling in necessary paperwork.
- We want to see enthusiasm, a proactive attitude and your ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- You need to be well-presented, punctual and focused on attention to detail.
- A Criminal Record Check, employment history and Right to Work check.
- SIA LICENSE Is a requirement.
- CCTV License is desirable
- Driving License + Own Transport is Essential
