Basic Rate: £41.93 Per Hour + Overtime Paid at Premium + 12 Month contract (minimum) + Temp to Perm

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a world leading automotive OEM based in the West Midlands for an on-going project starting in September 2024.

We are looking to recruit Multi Skilled, Maintenance Engineers from a BIW / Body In White or Trim & Final environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all production and ancillary machinery, equipment and power systems operate at maximum efficiency. You must have good electrical or mechanical skills, and you will have prior experience working within a production maintenance capacity.

Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics experience

Fault diagnosis/breakdown repairs on automated assembly equipment

Co ordinate maintenance activities and manage problem escalation

Analyse breakdowns and implement countermeasures

Identification machine spares and upkeep of spares facility

TPM/PPM

BIW or Trim & Final environment

Proven track record in electrical/electronic fault finding

Good understanding of PLC control systems (Allen Bradley & Siemens S5 or S7)

Working knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics

Tucker equipment

SPR Technology

Robotics / ABB / KUKA

Weld Gun fault finding

Conveyor Systems

Good verbal and written communication skills, together with computer literacy

Self motivated, flexible and ability to undertake training in additional skills

Qualified to City and Guilds, ONC, NVQ levels 3 or 4 in electrical/electronic engineering/installations.

Full training will be given on specialist equipment.
