As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for classes of 5-10 students from the ages 5-18. You will be working alongside classroom support assistants and on site professionals. The daily tasks of an SEN Teacher will include creating a structured learning environment and positive, engaging lessons for all students. Each student will have varying individual needs and learning styles, meaning you will create tailored lesson plans and targets as needed.

The role includes monitoring students' individual progress, identifying improvement areas and modifying as necessary. Working as an SEN Teacher, your role is important in order to help students develop life skills and independence.
