Sponsorship Sales Manager - Existing & New Business
Central London, Hybrid working 3 days in-office + Travel
Salary circa £50K+Uncapped Commission + Benefits
We are seeking a highly consultative and experienced Sponsorship Sales professional to join the London office of our Global B2B Media & Events Client. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a prestigious large-scale European conference, where you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue through sponsorship sales. If you're a motivated and hardworking sales professional with a proven track record in growing accounts and building long-lasting client relationships, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sponsorship sales targets.
- Identify and engage with potential sponsors, presenting tailored proposals that align with their objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing sponsors, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing, conference production and events teams to ensure seamless delivery of sponsor commitments.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, including pipeline and revenue forecasts.
Your experience:
- Proven experience in sponsorship sales, preferably within the B2B conference or events industry. We can consider applicants with 2 years or more direct sponsorship sales experience.
- Strong consultative sales approach with a track record of growing accounts and securing high-value sponsorships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
