Learning and Development Coordinator

Join a dynamic business in Knowsley that is committed to developing its people and supporting their growth. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Learning and Development Coordinator (L&D) to take charge of our learning and development initiatives and help future-proof our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs, including e-learning and in-person sessions, tailored to each team.
  • Lead leadership development initiatives covering essential topics such as difficult conversations and time management.
  • Collaborate on succession planning projects to upskill staff and support business continuity.
  • Work closely with the HR Advisor on apprenticeship programs and manage the apprenticeship levy.
  • Oversee the e-learning portal to ensure compliance and maximise its effectiveness.
  • Engage in additional projects such as work experience and gap year programs as the role develops.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a training or learning and development role, preferably within a challenging industry.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver engaging training content.
  • Willingness to travel across the Northwest for site-specific training while being based primarily at the Knowsley Head Office.
  • Ability to handle sensitive topics and manage resistance to change effectively.
